Plant Story
We harness the benefits of the slippery elm tree, which has played an important role in Native American herbal medicine for hundreds of years, to create this aromatic throat tea. Inspired by its traditional use, we source our slippery elm domestically, where families collect the bark sustainably by hand to protect the trees for future generations.
“After drinking a mug of this tea thirty minutes before each performance, I was able to perform and sing better than ever. The taste can be tricky at first but once you're used to it, it will be worth it, I promise!”

Dr J See All Reviews Write A Review“It has the most earthy fragrance and taste and does wonders for your throat. You can actually feel it 'coating' your throat with its goodness. Love the fact that it comes from environmentally conscious manufacturers. Definitely my favorite herbal tea.”
Ruhi S See All Reviews Write A Review“First Traditional Medicinals tea I have ever tried and I'm hooked! If my throat ever starts to feel scratchy I reach for this. If I run out I always pick up more to keep in stock even if I'm not sick because when I am I have to have this.”
