Nighty Night® Night Cap
Updated on May 22, 2024

At the end of the day, we’re all looking to slip peacefully into a restful sleep, but sometimes it can be hard getting there. Practicing good sleep hygiene can help set you up for success, but when we need to get some proper shut-eye, we find that a bit of extra support from our herbal allies can help to calm the body and mind, encouraging a restful night’s sleep.*

The ingredients in our Organic Nighty Night® tea blend offer soothing herbal support for calming the nervous system and preparing the body for a restful night’s sleep.* Passionflower takes the spotlight as a gentle herbal sedative to slow your body down and a nervine to help support your nervous system. With the addition of chamomile flower, a classic bedtime remedy, and other supportive herbs like catnip, linden and hops, this tea promotes relaxation and is the perfect addition to your bedtime routine.*

Since bedtime should invoke warm and cozy feelings, we’ve grown accustomed to creating herbal beverages to enjoy during our evening routines, not only with herbal support in mind, but feelings of pleasure and happiness. Our Nighty Night® Night Cap does just that. In this warm tranquil beverage, we blend Organic Nighty Night tea with rich oat milk, natural sweeteners, Irish cream, and spices, creating a comforting herbal night cap.*

Serving Size: 1.0
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Traditional Medicinals Organic Nighty Night tea bags
  • ½ cup boiled water
  • ½ cup coconut milk, oat milk or other milk of choice
  • 2 ½ Tbsp Torani Puremade Irish Cream syrup
  • 1-2 Tbsp honey, depending on sweetness preference
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 pinches of sea salt
  • Cinnamon powder for garnish

Directions

  1. Place the tea bags into a mug, adding in the boiling water. Cover with a lid or tea buddy and steep for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and squeeze any excess tea.
  3. Pour milk into a small saucepan and gently simmer.
  4. When simmered, add the warmed milk along with the honey, Irish Cream syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt to the brewed tea. Blend with frothing wand for 20 seconds. If you don’t have a wand a standard blender works as well.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
