Tis the season of green! We are proud to announce that we at Traditional Medicinals have joined forces with the Environmental Media Association (EMA), using our voices to elevate eco-consciousness and encourage sustainable production within the entertainment industry, and beyond.

To kick off the partnership, celebrity activists, EMA board members and members of the environmental community gathered for an inspiring evening focused on soil restoration and food as medicine.

EMA Board Member Nikki Reed (of Twilight fame and environmental activist) moderated a panel discussion with Traditional Medicinals Chief Science and Chief Purpose Officers Taryn Forrelli and Jamie Horst, along with Rebecca Tickell, Co-Director and Co-Producer of the documentary film Common Ground, shedding light on the intersection of regenerative agriculture, biodiversity and plant medicine.

Following that, Traditional Medicinals Herbalist Amber Valenzuela conducted a Conscious Cup tea tasting sharing the botanical sourcing stories of Throat Coat®, Chamomile with Lavender and Peppermint teas. “To become a Traditional Medicinals ingredient, our herbs must meet select criteria. From the species of plant, where it is grown, how it is harvested, to what plant part we use, and how much of a specific active compound is needed in order to achieve a particular health benefit,” she explained. “Beyond that, we try to be the best citizens we can – FairWild, Fairtrade, organic, solar-powered, compostable and so much more.”
