Skullcap earned its name for its delicate blue flowers which somewhat resemble the shape of helmets worn by early American soldiers. This tea is made with the leaves, stems, and flowers, collected when the plants are in flower. Traditionally used to support the nervous system*, some of our favorite skullcap comes from the good folks at Trout Lake Farm in the Pacific Northwest, who have provided us with some of our favorite herbs for over the past four decades. They’re kindred spirits in our search for high quality, sustainably produced herbs.
