Summary:

This position will play a key role in company’s efforts to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights to the Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams. The person will present data in well-designed charts, graphs, tables, and presentations that allow team members to make impactful decisions on key business issues. This person will be our key liaison and resource for all of our syndicated data partners and is responsible for informing the company of key consumption driven dynamics within the categories that we participate. 75-80% of the work will be specifically defined. The other 20-25% will be opportunistic and will depend on business situations and Analyst Initiative.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and Execute Traditional Medicinals Category Management process and perform Category Management functions for retailers where we have category leadership positions
  • Provide monthly standardized reports for Sales Team
  • Provide ad hoc reports for Sales, Marketing, and the Executive Team
  • Manage the Spins database and other customer portal data
  • Manage Syndicated data vendors as key point of contact
  • Manage all data sync vendor contracts and ensure databases are up to date
  • Create and distribute key initiative tracking reports
  • Provide a monthly analysis on the state of the business on shipments and consumption
  • Perform periodic as needed situational analysis. This could include Category, Customer or Marketplace Trends and Changes in Business Dynamics.
  • Works day to day with key sales and marketing personnel and provides analysis on key business issues.
  • Works closely with all Field Sales Team members and their broker partners
  • Works closely with Business Planning to provide insights on the sales forecast
  • Manage the Category Management function with Retail buyers and Category Managers
  • Works with and manages our relationship with our syndicated and shopper data partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-8 years sales analysis experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required and the ability to work with several different teams
  • An understanding of retail customers and field sales as well as Marketing
  • The ability to influence others
  • Technical skills in PowerPoint(Strong), Excel(Strong), Word, Power BI, Tableau
  • Strong knowledge of syndicated data systems – SPINS, AC Nielsen, or IRI
  • Knowledge of Customer Shopper Data – Dunhumby, 51, Retail Link, Market
