Senna leaf is the "move" in Smooth Move® , and works by direct action on the intestine, which is why it is called a stimulant laxative.* The pharmacopoeial grade senna leaf in Smooth Move® contains an effective dose of sennosides—the component of the herb that ensures the laxative effect.
Our product is indicated for relief from occasional constipation. We do not endorse the use of any Smooth Move® product as part of a dieting or cleansing program. Only a licensed healthcare provider can recommend off-label dosage and duration of use instructions based on an individual diagnosis.
Brew Well to be Well®
For maximum benefit, herbal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup!
Adults and children 12 years and over: Drink 1 cup preferably at bedtime, or as directed by a doctor. Children 6-12 years: Drink 1/2 cup preferably at bedtime. Children 2-6 years: Drink 1/4 - 1/2 cup preferably at bedtime. Children under 2 years: Consult a doctor.
