Called a partus preparator in Latin (a term meaning, “delivery preparer”) for its role in preparing the womb for childbirth, herbalists have used raspberry leaf for thousands of years to support pregnant women.* We get our raspberry leaf from the Gorazde collection region of Bosnia, a place of gorgeous rolling hills and meadows. Picked in the wild by a group of collector families and neighbors who live on small plots of land, the young leaves are best when harvested in early summer before the fruits develop.
